Alpine Skiing/Snowboarding/Cross-country Skiing

Blue Mountain Ski Resort - Offering 34 trails with 14 lifts, including 4 high-speed six-person chairs, 3 terrain parks, and 2 super pipes. Night skiing with 22 trails and 10 lifts.

Kolapore Uplands - A system of about 60 kilometres of marked cross-country trails which loop through some of the most beautiful wild terrain. Maps of the trails are available at the general store in Ravenna.

The Loree Forest - Located south of Thornbury on County Road 2 and then east from Victoria Corners to the parking area at the top of the hill on Sideroad 21. It is not a maintained trail network but does provide enjoyable cross-country skiing for beginners and those with moderate abilities.

The Highlands Nordic cross-country ski trails - South of Collingwood on Highway 24 and west of Duntroon on county Road 63 to the 10th line. Rentals and lessons are available. It has 23 kilometres of marked trails. Classic and skate-skiing machine-groomed trails.

Cycling

The Georgian Trail - A 32 kilometre trail stretches from Collingwood to Meaford. It is located right across the road from Craigleith Cottage and is an excellent beginner's route. Call or e-mail for your free cycling brochure with maps.
